"Scarecrow Day" @ White Plains Hospital Girl Scouts needed to help at "Scarecrow Day", a White Plains Hospital charity event on October 19th from 10 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. They need middle school to high school Girl Scouts to help from at various booths. Bette Landes at 472-1448 or betland@aol.com 
In response to the WTC and Pentagon
Disasters
Plant a tree in memory of the victims of the disasters at the WTC and the Pentagon. The Trees for Peace memorial project has a goal to plant one tree for each person who died on September 11. Troops around the world are planting trees for victims chosen from the personality profiles done in the New York Times (available online) or, for local troops, local disaster victims. Open Book, Childrens' Center, Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla Junior, Cadette and Senior troops needed to sign up to decorate the bulletin board in the waiting area. Should have a reading theme. Call Joyce Malone to reserve a month. 747-3080 ext. 237
