Schedule for Community Camping
September XXX

Note: You will receive your troop's schedule at the campsite. Please be flexible when you get the final schedule. Free time ideas: nature scavenger hike, regular hike along Blue dot trail (located near bridge at entrance to ABC), do a badge like Troop camper, Outdoor cook or Outdoor creativity Junior badges. Bring cards, a few board games, and a craft project just in case.

BOATING AT BOATING DOCK 

ROPES COURSE: (follow road to Hidden Valley and Mariah camps; ropes course will be on your left in the woods; you should take a car-it is a long hike)

COMMUNITY CAMPFIRE: located outside cabin #10, will begin promptly at 8:00pm. Bring 2/3 logs from home to donate to this event. Practice skit or song to lead others in at this event. Bring props if needed.

SCOUT'S OWN: located in the clearing between cabins 12 and 13, will begin promptly at 9:00am Sunday morning, please be on time so that everyone can leave for home. This year's theme is Remembrance of Sept. 11th. Your troop should prepare a song, poem, skit, dance, short play or whatever to share. Troops may work together. We will close with a friendship circle. Bring supplies and props if you think you need them. You can work on your contribution part of Sat.  

Remember if it is not raining the Bronx River Pkwy will be closed for Bicycle Sunday, so take an alternate route.
