Cookie Sales 2008

Thanks to Abby Litt, Kathy Labick, Misao Johnson for organizing cookie sales for the Scarsdale Edgemont community.

Some things are the same this year, some are very different.  The training meeting for troop cookie chairs was Tuesday, Jan. 8. All troops should have picked up their materials for the sale at this time.  There will be changes from what is printed in the material our Council is giving out so it is important for each troop to be represented.  If your troop missed the meeting, please contact one of the chairs.

Information about distribution of cookies, collecting of money, and awards to the girls will be passed out at a later date.  There is too much to discuss in one evening.

Extra order forms are in the box outside Abby's front door at 67 Edgemont Road.  There are no more permission papers.  If you need more, download from the GSHH website or duplicate one you have.

We don't know much about this 'singing and dancing activity' but will research and let you know if we get any info.

Please do not ask questions now about collecting money as the procedures are not 100 % finalized.  You will know in plenty of time!  The price of cookies is the same as last year, $3.50/box.

Remember, cookie delivery is in March.

The Gift of Caring service project is discussed in the manual.  Operation Thin Mint now has another name but is up and running.  That is the 'charity' cookie donation to our troops abroad.
